Add a touch of vintage charm with these limited-edition upcycled cushions made from early to mid 20C Spanish loop-pile fabrics. These were woven by hand using a once popular but now all-but-extinct loop-pile fabric technique, "felpa" or "gorullo".
A “must” for fabric lovers. As the cushions are upcycled from old, used folk fabrics they display marks and signs of wear and fading that confirm their charm and authenticity.
Hand-spun and home-dyed these cushions are sewn from fragments of vintage folk textiles from the Galician area of northwest Spain. The fabric is totally different to modern industrial fabrics and has a special quality and robustness that is often found on authentic folk textiles.
Handspun wool with linen. Linen back. Invisible zip and filler included.
Hand-wash cover gently in cold water. Do not soak, or spin or tumble dry. Dry flat.
