Add a touch of vintage charm with these limited-edition upcycled cushions made from early to mid 20C Spanish loop-pile fabrics. These were woven by hand using a once popular but now all-but-extinct loop-pile fabric technique, "felpa" or "gorullo".
A “must” for fabric lovers. As the cushions are upcycled from old, used folk fabrics they display marks and signs of wear and fading that confirm their charm and authenticity. Each one is different.
Hand-spun and home-dyed these cushions are sewn from fragments of vintage folk textiles from the Galician area of northwest Spain. The fabric is totally different to modern industrial fabrics and has a special quality and robustness that is often found on authentic folk textiles. Special rustic linen backing with beautifully sewn invisible zip fastening. Scroll down for more photos.
